How do I apply?
  • Call us today to schedule an appointment at the camp. You can take a tour and we can discuss any questions, concerns, or special needs.
  • We do not accept unscreened dogs for everyones's security.
Click here for our application form.

What are your hours of operation?
  • We're open year-round, 7 days per week.

  • Day Campers and Boarders should arrive by appointment and should be collected between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. We do have pick up and delivery available in Durham Region, Peterborough, Port Hope and Lindsay.
  • Dogs are fed at 7am and 5pm so if your dog is here during those times, please send his food as well.
Can you pick up my dog?
We no longer pick up or drop off dogs. It costs too much to make it worthwhile for you. Day care is available between 8:30am and 6pm.

How do I get there?
Click here for our Contact page which has a map & driving directions.

What are your rates?
Please see our services page for details on our rates.

How long is a week boarding?
6 nights, 7 days, just like Disney world.

How long is a month boarding?
28 days.

Is there a cancellation fee?
Cancellation Fees for stays less than a week are $25. We require 3 days notice to avoid a cancellation fee.
Stays of one week or more is $100. One weeks notice is required to avoid the fee.
Deposits are refundable with the same notice periods.
If the notice is less, we will refund the deposit if the spot can be filled.

Can I call at the last minute to have my dog placed with you?
Sorry no, not if we haven't pre-screened your dog. If you're a client and we have space available of course we'll accomodate your last minute request. Obviously, the busier we are, the more notice is required.

Do I need an Appointment?
YES, absolutely. For the security of the dogs at the camp, we cannot permit unexpected visitors. We also want to meet you and assess your dog's temperament and ability to get along with the other dogs before he arrives for day camp or boarding.

What do I do when I arrive for an appointment with my dog?
Please pull up to a parking spot and remain in your vehicle until someone comes to greet you. Again, this is for the safety and security of the dogs. All dogs on the property must be leashed until they get into the run.
Please keep your leashes with you when you leave to keep them from being mixed up with others or chewed up by industrious puppies. Remember this is a CAMP!

Does my dog have to be spayed or neutered?
Yes, all dogs must be spayed or neutered unless it's a pup up to age 8 months old that is not yet sexually mature.

What about Shots & Fleas?
We require a certificate, letter or other proof that all vaccinations are up-to-date. We also require all dogs to use a flea control product, such as Advantage, from April 15th to October. If your dog is on comination Heartworm/Flea control, you should be able to obtain single tubes of Advantage flea Control for April and May. Flea collars are not enough protection for dogs that are allergic to fleas.

How do you deal with Kennel Cough?
We require that your dog receive the intra-nasal or vaccination approximately 14 days prior to boarding. There is a yearly inocculation available now. Kennel Cough is caused by a virus and bacteria and vets are still not sure how it can occur out of nowhere in large groups of dogs. Prevention is less expensive than treatment.
NOTE: We also offer homeopathic prevention and treatment and other holistic treatments if your dog reacts badly to any type of vaccine

What about my dog's food and bed/bedding?
Please mark the containers or bags with your dogs name and amounts to be given each meal. We do feedings from 7-8AM and 5:30-6:30PM. If your Day Camper does not eat before arrival, provide the food please.
You may bring your dog's favourite blanket or bed but please mark those also with the dog's name.

My dog has a special diet and/or medication. Can you accommodate that?
We accommodate all special diets and can administer your dog's medication. Please provide enough food and medications to cover the length of your dog's stay with us.

Can my dog bring his/her own toys etc.?
Please don't bring any toys as this causes fights. We have all the toys your dog needs. If your dog is boarding with us, you may wish to bring an item of clothing with your smell on it to keep in the sleeping crate.

My dog comes home from Camp pretty dirty. Why is that?
First, we're a camp. We let the dogs dig holes, roll in the dirt, swim and roll some more. They do what dogs do. We don't keep them crated and we aren't a grooming facility HOWEVER we do have a number of groomers available and if your departure is on a tuesday to Saturday, we're happy to make an appt for your dog to be groomed (at your cost plus a transport fee). They can be clean and pretty when you're ready to pick them up.
Available is from 'Bath & Tidy' to 'Full Groom'
Please ask yourself, is my dog having fun when I'm away? Is he happily exhausted and ready for a long, long nap when he returns home? There are plenty of facilities where your dog can be crated and clean while you're gone.
We do hose them off frequently as well.
April is the filthiest month here. Melting snow and rain...well you get the picture. We hate it as much as you do but the dogs LOVE IT! They bodysurf into puddles, race around splashing each other (the next best thing to the pond which is usually open by the end of April). We're as dirty as they are unfortunately.

Can I pick up my dog early?
Yes, we would never keep you from your dog BUT the spot is booked and we do not refund for early departure.
